6m Universal Dry Fix Ridge System – Black
This 6m Universal Dry Fix Ridge System provides a complete, mortar-free solution for fixing ridge and hip tiles while delivering continuous high-level roof ventilation. It eliminates traditional sand and cement bedding, removing the risk of mortar cracking, falling out, or requiring maintenance. The system uses stainless steel screws and corrosion-resistant brackets to mechanically secure each ridge tile, meeting BS 5534 wind uplift requirements. The 10mm vented ridge roll provides 5000mm²/m free airflow to comply with BS 5250, preventing condensation build-up in the roof space. The corrugated aluminium edge with butyl adhesive strips dresses down over the top course of tiles to create a watertight, weatherproof seal on all common profiles including concrete flat, profiled, and clay ridge tiles. Suitable for roof pitches from 12.5° to 55°. The 6m kit includes 1x vented ridge roll, 6x ridge unions, 12x ridge brackets, 12x stainless screws, 6x clamping plates, and batten fixing straps. Ideal for new builds, re-roofs, and storm-damage repairs where a maintenance-free, NHBC-accepted dry ridge is specified.
