20mm x 25m MDPE Water Pipe Coil – Blue
This 20mm x 25m MDPE Water Pipe is a flexible polyethylene coil for potable water supply below ground. Manufactured from PE80 MDPE to BS 6572 and BS EN 12201, with a blue outer layer indicating potable water use and a black inner core with UV protection. 20mm outside diameter suits small domestic service connections, garden supplies, outbuilding feeds, or low-demand applications. Install below ground at minimum 750mm depth to avoid frost damage, as required by Water Regulations. Use with standard 20mm MDPE compression fittings – cut pipe square, chamfer the end, fully insert into fitting, then tighten nut hand-tight plus 1 turn. Flexible coil allows trench curves without elbow fittings. Rated to 12 bar at 20°C. WRAS approved for potable water. Kitemarked to BS 6572. Resists ground movement, corrosion, and scale build-up. Not suitable for hot water above 20°C, gas, or above-ground UV exposure without protection. 25m length is manageable for DIY installs and small projects without needing full 50m or 100m coils.
