25mm x 3/4″ BSP Male MDPE Adaptor – Compression
This 25mm x 3/4″ BSP Male MDPE Adaptor transitions 25mm MDPE blue or black water pipe to a 3/4″ female BSP threaded fitting. The MDPE end uses a compression joint with internal stainless steel grip ring and rubber EPDM O-ring seal. The threaded end is 3/4″ BSP male for connecting to female threaded fittings. Install the MDPE end by cutting pipe square, chamfering the edge, pushing into the fitting until it hits the stop, then tighten the nut hand-tight plus 1 turn with a spanner. The male thread screws directly into 3/4″ female fittings like full-bore lever ball valves, brass manifolds, water filters, hose union bib taps, pressure reducing valves, or irrigation solenoid valves – use PTFE tape on the thread. Common for connecting 25mm MDPE service pipe into 3/4″ valve ports, property entry points, garden tap assemblies, or irrigation manifolds. Rated to 16 bar. Suitable for use with MDPE pipe to BS 6572 and BS EN 12201. WRAS approved for potable water. UV stabilised polypropylene body resists frost and ground conditions. Not suitable for gas or hot water above 20°C. Reusable if undamaged.
