The Sabrefix timber frame tie is the widest used tie in Europe, a truly flexible tie which secures brick
and block work cladding to the timber frame structures up to and including 4 stories.the most effective
and economical method of providing strong, mechanical joints for framing of timbers. The unique
bending slot allows instant and accurate on site bending for all 2 and 3 way ties. The reversible design
is ideal for a variety of connections.
Accommodates 50 to 100mm cavities.
Installation
Location: – All South East of England and town and city sites where basic wind speed does not exceed
52m/sec -Density of Ties – 4.4 ties per m2. Spacing – 600 x 375mm.
All sites where basic wind speed exceeds 52m/sec -Density of Ties – 7 ties per m2.
Spacing – 600 x 225mm.
