The SCA201 Stop Cock Adaptor provides a secure transition from 20mm MDPE blue pipe to 15mm copper pipe. Designed for UK water mains, this brass compression fitting eliminates the need for multiple connectors and potential leak points.
The fitting features a 20mm MDPE compression end with a robust grip ring and rubber seal for your blue poly pipe. The 15mm end is a standard brass compression connection for copper. A copper liner is included to insert into the MDPE pipe, preventing it from deforming under compression and ensuring a watertight seal that lasts.
Key Applications:
This adaptor is ideal for connecting new MDPE supply pipework to existing copper pipe at the stop cock or internal manifold. It’s fully WRAS approved, making it compliant for all potable water installations in the UK. Rated to 16 bar at 20°C, it’s suitable for direct burial underground or use inside buildings.
Installation Notes: Simply push the MDPE pipe into the compression end past the O-ring, tighten the nut, and connect your 15mm copper to the other side using standard compression methods. Always use the supplied liner in the MDPE pipe.
