25mm x 25m MDPE Water Pipe Coil – Blue
This 25mm x 25m MDPE Water Pipe is a flexible polyethylene coil for potable water supply below ground. Manufactured from PE80 MDPE to BS 6572 and BS EN 12201, with a blue outer layer indicating potable water use and a black inner core with UV protection. 25mm outside diameter is the standard size for domestic mains supplies from the boundary to the property, extensions, outbuilding feeds, or garden supplies. Install below ground at minimum 750mm depth to avoid frost damage, as required by Water Regulations. Use with standard 25mm MDPE compression fittings – cut pipe square, chamfer the end, fully insert into fitting, then tighten nut hand-tight plus 1 turn. Flexible coil allows trench curves without elbow fittings. Rated to 12 bar at 20°C. WRAS approved for potable water. Kitemarked to BS 6572. Resists ground movement, corrosion, and scale build-up. Not suitable for hot water above 20°C, gas, or above-ground UV exposure without protection. 25m length suits short property connections, extensions, and DIY installs without needing full 50m or 100m coils.
