RoofTX Optima Breathable Membrane Roof Felt 50 x 1m – 92gsm
RoofTX Optima is a 92gsm vapour permeable, air barrier low resistance roofing underlay manufactured by Don & Low Ltd. This lightweight breathable membrane is designed for use as a secondary weather barrier beneath tiles and slates on pitched roofs and as a breather membrane in timber frame walling. The membrane allows water vapour to escape from the roof or wall structure, preventing condensation build-up while providing excellent resistance to water penetration from wind-driven rain and snow. Its low weight makes it easy to handle on site, with good tear resistance for installation. RoofTX Optima is suitable for use in UK wind zones 1 to 4 and can be installed in both cold and warm roof applications. The 50 x 1m roll provides 50m² coverage and is UV stable during the construction phase. Install with laps and fixings to manufacturer guidance, taping overlaps where required for wind uplift performance.
