25mm MDPE Equal Tee – Compression
This 25mm MDPE Equal Tee is used to create a 90° branch from 25mm MDPE blue or black water pipe. All three ports use compression joints with internal stainless steel grip rings and rubber EPDM O-ring seals. No inserts needed – cut the pipe square, chamfer the edge, push each pipe into the fitting until it hits the stop, then tighten the nut hand-tight plus 1 turn with a spanner. The grip rings lock the pipe in place and the O-rings create watertight seals rated to 16 bar. Used for branching off 25mm mains runs to feed additional properties, outbuildings, garden supplies, irrigation zones, and agricultural lines. Suitable for use with MDPE pipe to BS 6572 and BS EN 12201. WRAS approved for use with potable drinking water. UV stabilised polypropylene body resists frost and ground conditions. Not suitable for gas or hot water above 20°C. Reusable if undamaged – loosen the nuts and pull the pipes out. Full-bore design maintains flow with minimal pressure drop. 25mm is common for larger domestic mains supplies and small commercial runs.
